What is the Webfolder?
The Webfolder is a virtual hard drive in the Internet. Here, you can save data and access it from anywhere in the world.
You can also share single directories and herewith permit others access to the files.
Memory Space
- Currently, every user has access to 200 MB of free memory space.
- Files can simply be uploaded via Drag 'n' Drop.
Internet Permissions
- If a folder has been marked "Internet permission", the contents of the folder can be accessed through any web browser.
- Even single files receive a web link so that they can be individually accessed by a web browser (simply copy the web link and paste it into an email - the recipient can now have access to that file).
Permissions
- Newly created folders are at first private. If others should have access to the files, global or personal permissions can be created.
- Here, you can differentiate between "Read only" or "Read & Write" permissions.
Galleries
- Create a slideshow and imbed it into your profile page or another website.
- Add pictures by 'Drag and Drop'.
- All images will be scaled automatically so that they can be displayed in every browser.
Access to Your Friends' Files
- If your friend has approved your access to a folder, you can retrieve data from it at any time.
